The firm of R. T. Platts was established in 1947 by the grandfather of the current owner Chris Platts FAVLP; to assist in the transfer of the assets (inventory of fixtures and fittings) of public houses between old and new tenants.

 

From 1966 to around 1992, the firm was run and managed by John Platts until being joined in the business by the current owner Chris Platts.

 

Platts Licensed Trade Valuers has a historical pedigree dating back some 60 years as specialist Inventory Valuers to the licensed trade; with the current owner being the third consecutive family member to own and run the firm which prides itself on high levels of personal service, professional integrity and a ‘can-do’ attitude.

 

Centrally based from offices in Derby, Chris Platts and the team have excellent links for all the road networks.
